An energetic and experienced leader, Chris has demonstrated significant expertise in corporate finance, operations, accounting, strategic planning, risk management, distribution, logistics, acquisitions, auditing, human relations, and customer service.

Most recently, Chris was Executive VP and CFO at Sweeteners Plus LLC in Lakeville, NY, which processes and distributes sweetener products. He oversaw finance and accounting, IT, trucking, dispatch, maintenance garages, and a subsidiary, RC Conley. He acted as senior executive on site, hiring multiple managers and employees, as well as the firm’s insurance broker, audit firm, tax preparer, IT consultant, payroll processor, unemployment processor, and 401k provider. Chris was responsible for developing internal processes, and implementing IT infrastructure and multiple systems.

Before Sweeteners Plus, Chris was CFO and then President of BioMaxx Inc., which produces wood-based products for wood pellet heating and the natural gas/oil fracking industry. He oversaw all aspects of BioMaxx’s operations and financial performance, including two manufacturing facilities, and managed the company’s headquarters move to Pittsford. At BioMaxx, Chris was responsible for 47 employees and revenues of $22 million.

Prior to BioMaxx Inc., Chris was CFO and VP of Finance at Griffith Energy Inc., he reported directly to the president and managed corporate finance, treasury, accounting, risk management, audit, IT, HR, natural gas group, and credit functions. He assisted executives of the $800 million company in negotiating Griffith’s 2010 sale to Superior Plus Energy Services, which then retained Chris as VP of Business Development. Chris began his career as a financial analyst at Rochester Gas & Electric, and later became CFO of the RG&E subsidiary Energetix.
