DeJoy & Co. Hires Wideman, CPA, as Senior Tax Specialist

ROCHESTER, NY, February 27, 2023 – DeJoy & Co., a leading regional business advisory and CPA firm, has hired Sarah J. Wideman as a Senior Tax Specialist. She will deliver tax and financial planning services in DeJoy & Co.’s Personal Tax Practice.

Wideman’s 23 years of experience includes working with small businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Her clients represent industries such as manufacturing, wholesale, information technology, event management, and landscaping. Formerly, she was tax and planning director for a Pittsford CPA firm.

A graduate of SUNY Geneseo, Wideman holds a BS in Accounting. She earned her CPA in 2002.

In her leisure time, Wideman enjoys reading and playing the French horn in a community band with her daughter. She volunteers as an accountant for her church, and formerly volunteered as treasurer for a community pool club and the Webster BlueFins swim team.

Wideman lives in Webster with her husband, Tom. They have three children: Olivia, Madeline, and Alexander.
